EYES is an OEE accelerator.
Data gathered directly from equipment is processed in real-time to provide detailed performance analytics. This visibility and in-depth understanding helps employees make informed decisions and take timely actions to address the top issues impacting OEE.
The equation
A 15% increase in OEE can improve your profit by 5 percentage points (500 basis points).
Surprised? And this is for low value added industries. With higher value addition, the increase in profit can be as high as 7 percentage points (700 basis points).
Do you know that your OEE is inflated?
Shocking but true.
Actual cycle time data collected from the machines is analyzed to determine ideal cycle time and standard time. Our experience shows that more often than not, the standard times are inflated. Sometimes available time is under-reported. Either way, real OEE is much different from you have been led to believe.

Micro-stops, also knows as Chokote, is the 'invisible' enemy of efficiency. Unlike breakdowns or changeovers, micro-stops are short. However, they are very frequent. The cumulative impact of micro-stops is quite big. Often bigger than the impact of breakdowns and changeovers put together. But unfortunately, they are often ignored as it is very difficult to measure and record the duration and reasons for the stops. They are considered "unavoidable, "part of the process" and typically hidden under inflated standard times. Micro-stops are akin to "death by a thousand cuts".
EYES makes micro-stops visible through real-time analysis of equipment data. The extent, impact and the reasons behind the stops.

Our experience shows that many organizations are not very effective in how they manage the improvement process. Knowing your top issues and developing countermeasures are just the first two steps. Monitoring timely implementation of actions, checking results for effectiveness of actions and standardization are vital elements of the PDCA process. 35 years of experience in manufacturing in automotive, wind energy and consumer products industries.
Experience and expertise in formulating and implementing overall business strategy securing brand image, growth and elevated operational performance.
Most recently KV held the position of President of India for a major global player in the automotive and industrial technology space and led a business with annual revenue of over € 1 billion.
KV strongly believes in a goal-oriented approach where entire organization has strategic clarity, driving innovation and growth and disciplined execution to deliver optimum results.
KV completed his B.Tech from NIT, Kozhikode and PGDM from SP Jain Institute of Management and Research, Mumbai.
Swarna Banerjee
With experience spanning more than 30 years in world class multinational organizations, Swarna brings with him deep understanding of the manufacturing domain. It’s best practices, challenges and opportunities.
He is passionate about productivity and has successfully led several operational transformation initiatives with impactful business results. Swarna has been an avid practitioner of Lean Manufacturing and believes that Smart Manufacturing is the next big opportunity for the industry.
Most recently Swarna was responsible for global manufacturing and supply chain operations for an automotive Tier 1’s electronics division with annual revenue of € 1.4 billion. He has lived and worked in various locations in Asia including Tokyo and Shanghai.
He graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, completed his post graduation in management from Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore and Smart Manufacturing from MIT.
Andy Wood
26 years of experience in automotive OEM and Tier #1 electronics business, with Senior roles in Operations Strategy, Customer Group and Program Management
4 years of experience as Management and Operations consultant.
